Staying at the Tri-Star was a pleasant surprise. The welcoming staff made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Cleanliness stood out. the rooms were tidy and well-maintained, which I appreciated. Breakfast options were enjoyable and freshly cooked. I particularly loved the quality of the English breakfast served daily. the bathroom could have benefited from being larger, as it felt cramped at times. I also faced some heating control issues. it took a while for the room to warm up. The hotel is conveniently located near the NEC, perfect for events. On the downside, I noticed some noise from the nearby runway, which might bother light sleepers. a nice place to stay with some minor inconveniences.

what an absoluteley disappointing experience at tri-star. the mouldy shower cubicle ceiling was just charming, and the toilet roll nearly touching the radiator really added to the ambiance. I mean, why would they think I wouldn't fancy a room upgrade for such nightmarish amenities? I just couldn't bring myself to give a good review after that.

The homemade breakfast was top-notch, especially the cooked-to-order English breakfast. Plus, the games room provided a great way to unwind with some pool after a long day.
The bathroom situation could definitely use a little more space. it felt pretty cramped. Some of the rooms were on the smaller side, especially the single ones, and I ran into some heating control issues—it took a while to warm up. I noticed the dinner menu had limited options and could use a bit more variety.

Bickenhill vibes ✈️
Nigel was a real chommie, making us feel right at home. The beds were flippin' comfy, best sleep in ages! Plus, brekkie was lekker, couldn’t have asked for more after a busy day.
Maybe a bit noisy from the nearby road, but nothing too bad.

great stay but minor issues
The staff provided exceptional service, ensuring I felt at home. The breakfast options were excellent, with fresh choices that were cooked quickly. The bar area offered a nice place to unwind after a long day with a casual, welcoming vibe. The room was very clean, and the heating was fixed swiftly after I raised a concern about it taking time to warm up.
Some noise from the nearby road may be bothersome to light sleepers.

Cozy stay with delicious meals and a great host
I had a lovely one-night stay, and the highlight was definitely the delicious breakfast served quickly in the morning. The host was incredibly warm and accommodating, even ironing out taxi arrangements to the NEC for me. The room was small but very clean and comfortable, making my overall experience enjoyable. It would be nice to have a bit more variety in the breakfast options though.
